EATC is planning and executing evacuation missions to and out of Afghanistan, also using hubs in the neighbouring region. Each detail is planned in cooperation with the respective nations, closely linked to individual evacuation plans and taking into account the volatile and very dynamic situation at the Kabul International Airport.
EATC has created an adhoc cell within its operational division that is exclusively dedicated to the coordination of the evacuation missions with regard to Afghanistan. The experts combine the national requirements, and look for synergistic and efficient solutions.
The majority of missions into Kabul are executed by “tactical assets” such as A400Ms and C130s while the more strategic routes are being covered by the B767, A330 MRTT, KDC10 and A310.
