On 18 August 2021, Volker Schwichtenberg, CEO Mönch Publishing Group, handed over the first copy of a Military Technology special issue on “European Air Transport Command” to Major General Andreas Schick, Commander EATC.
The magazine highlights on forewords from the EATC command group, followed by the seven air chiefs’ views on EATC and what EATC’s future holds for them. Then the special issue features what EATC stands for: pooling capabilities, sharing a fleet, expertise in air transport, aeromedical evacuation and air to air refuelling. The publication provides the reader a detailed insight into how we lead multinational trainings, develop common regulations and enhance interoperability. It also puts a spotlight on how to sponsor a mission for a third party, drills on the pandemic’s challenges and opportunities and speaks about EATC’s unique management software.
