On 17 February 2022, Major General Andreas Schick, Commander EATC, warmly welcomed Mr Francisco Fontan, Head of Office of the Secretary General of the European Union External Action Service (EEAS).
With regard to EEAS’ responsibilities, Mr Fontan was highly interested in EATC’s business model and in particular in the services offered to the EATC member nations and air forces. The meeting concluded with a visit to EATC’s “Mission Control” centre, where the worldwide flight activities are monitored on a 24/7 basis.
