On 22 and 23 March 2023, EATC held a second successful edition of the Operational Planning Board. Commanders from the National Movement Centers met for two days at EATC headquarters to discuss lessons learned from previous operations, to exchange medium and long term operational plans and to hear about EATC’s intents on for instance the A400M light house project.
Brigadier General Patrick Mollet, Deputy Commander EATC, addressed the audience congratulating on the outcome from the first conference in 2022. He stated that “Last year you decided to offer more operational flexibility to EATC. We are now able to offer enhanced operational planning and mission execution, and thus meet far better your air mobility requests.”
To General Mollet, success is only guaranteed if “we act in concert. The Operational Planning Board is the place to strengthen cooperative operational efforts and to design the path for growth and improvement. Thank you to all of you for your commitment! ”
Parallel to the Operational Planning Board, EATC also organized the “Long Term Planning” and “Training” conferences. The participants discussed operational and training planning and exchanged views together with experts from the multinational units and partner organisations.
