On 24 September 2020, French Brigadier General Stéphan Gourg became the new EATC Chief of Staff.
Brigadier General Gourg is an experienced pilot with more than 6000 hours on the Mirage 2000, Falcon 50, falcon 900, Airbus 310 and Airbus 340. He has conducted war missions over the Balkans, African territories, Middle east and Afghanistan, providing strategic airlift and aeromedical operations around the world. Besides his experiences as a command pilot, has gained expertise at Joint level in policy and international affairs.
