On 15 July 2021, EATC’s mission control center planned and executed on very short call an Italian C130J emergency flight to Belgium. On board: Italian firefighters, pneumatic boats, vehicles and material to support Belgium.
Amongst others, Belgium was hit hard by heavy rainfall and mass flooding calling for international help. Italy responded without delay to this emergency call requesting EATC to plan and command the mission in coordination with the national authorities.
