Indo-Pacific activities: EATC unparalleled 24/7 support (1)

… to the German, French, Italian and Spanish air forces, who deploy a more than 70-aircraft strong European air contingent to the Indo-Pacific region, participating to a set of multinational exercises in Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Australia, and India. An ambitious programme ending in September!

The kick-off is planned for Thursday, 27 June 24: German and Spanish Eurofighters EF2000 will depart to Alaska (USA), with a first stop in Goose Bay (Canada). They will be air-to-air refuelled on their way by A330MRTTs and A400Ms!

The Indo-pacific activities 2024 is EATC air mobility per excellence … on a large scale! In the months to come, EATC plans and monitors more than 120 ferry flights, deploying 50 fighters and four helicopters, on their way to the Indo-Pacific region, as well as A400Ms and C130Js logistical support flights.

In parallel to these activities, EATC will organise the European Air Refuelling Training (EART24), another edition of the Lighthouse Project, as well as a Combined Air Terminal Operation training CATO in Alaska.

If you want to know more about EATC’s support to the Indo-pacific activities, EART or the LHP, stay tuned! Follow-on articles will inform you extensively on these events.
