On 27 June 2018, Colonel Frank Best handed over the position of the German Senior National Representative to Colonel Wolfgang Schad. An official change of command ceremony was organized at the EATC headquarters under the lead of Major General Walter Huhn, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the German Air Operation Command and in presence of the EATC Commander Major General Chiffoleau.
General Huhn commended Colonel Best on his outstanding performance as deputy head of the operational division and on his strong commitment as head of the German delegation at EATC. After three and a half years at EATC, Colonel Best will take over new duties at the German Ministry of Defence in Bonn.
Colonel Schad, a highly recognized weapon system officer, will meet the double hatted challenge of Senior National Representative and deputy head of the functional division.
