On 24th and 25th February 2014 Lieutenant General Gilles Lemoine, French Air Force Inspector, visited the European Air Transport Command (EATC) at Eindhoven Air Base.
LtGen Lemoine was accompanied by several members of the French Air Force Inspection team (IAA) and by a representative of the French Armed Forces Inspection team (IDA). Upon his arrival he was welcome by the Commander EATC, Major General Pascal Valentin.
Colonel Franck Verdierre, French Senior Representative of the French detachment, conducted this two-day visit, during which IAA and IDA delegation was able to assess every aspect of France’s participation to the EATC.
LtGen Lemoine also took the opportunity to discuss with the French personnel posted to the EATC and collect their thoughts and experience.
