On Tuesday 22 January 2019, a Spanish A400M executed a first operational mission to Bamako. EATC commanded and controlled the mission on behalf of Spain. The Spanish A400M carried personnel and cargo for the Spanish contingent of the European Union Training Mission in Mali (EUTM).
Today EATC’s multinational fleet comprises 43 A400M’s from three member nations : Spain, Germany and France. At the end of 2019, EATC will command and control up to 54 aircraft.
