EATC Planning Conference to prepare best airlift

The 8th EATC Planning Conference takes place on 3 and 4 June 2014 within EATC at Eindhoven Air Base. This conference normally comprise three separate syndicates corresponding to the three main planning areas and EATC branches as of Long Term Plans (LTP), Training and Exercises and Fleet Management (FLMT) section (part of Technical and Logistics Branch).
While FLMT usually organizes separate annual meetings, the specifically Training and Exercise (TREX) syndicate on 3 June will focus on the outlook of their national exercise calendars during the second half of 2014 and early 2015, where Air Transport and Air-to Air-Refuelling units or -assets will play an active role.
Participants will also focus on TREX cross-participation opportunities between nations. EATC expects therefore attendance from national exercise planners coming from the joint forces level, the army, the EATC participating air forces as well as AT and AAR communities.
The day after, the Long Term Plans syndicate will discuss received inputs from the operations- and exercise planners at a multinational, joint and single service/component level for all activities involving airlift or AAR assets that are envisaged during the second half of 2014 and early 2015.
