On Thursday, 23 of August 2018, the Commander of the European Air Transport Command, Major General Pascal Chiffoleau and the Director of the Joint IV Command (JIVC), Ron Kolkman met at the JIVC headquarters in Utrecht to sign a Service Agreement between the two organisations.
JIVC is the “information technology” (IT) department from the Dutch Ministry of Defence. It supports EATC with workstation services, phones, connectivity and hosting of MEAT (*). It is also an intermediate for procurement of IT applications and services.
(*) Management of European Air Transport (MEAT). It is an unique software created by EATC to manage the European air transport assets.
