EART is happening for the 9th time: the European Air Refuelling Training, 2023 edition, will take place again in Spain from 16 to 27 October 2023.
The training, led by EATC, will be hosted for the third time by the Spanish Air Force at Lanzarote Air Base, in combination this year with the Spanish fighter exercise “Ocean Skies 23“ operating from Gando Air Base in Gran Canaria (Spain).
Three tankers and crews from France, Italy and Spain will participate at EART 2023, with a focus on dissimilar ”multi-tanker formation“ and ”tanker-to-tanker“ rendezvous procedures, emphasizing as well on “threat reactions and retrograde“ procedures.
