EART is happening for the 8th time: the European Air Refuelling Training, 2022 edition, will take place again in Spain from 17 to 27 October 2022.
The training, led by EATC, will be hosted for the second time by the Spanish Air Force at Lanzarote Air Base, in combination this year with the Spanish fighter exercise ”Sirio 2022“ operating from Gando Air Base in Gran Canaria (Spain).
Three tankers and crews from France, Italy and Canada will participate, together with mentors form Australia and MCCE*.
EART 2022 will focus on similar and dissimilar ”multi-tanker formation“ and ”tanker-to-tanker“ rendezvous procedures, emphasizing as well on “threat reactions and retrograde“ procedures.
