...3 tankers and 250 air and ground crew members. They trained together during the 9th edition of the European Air Refuelling Training (EART) at Lanzarote Military Air Base. Under the supervision of EATC and a multinational team of mentors from Spain, France and Italy, a total of 174 training objectives were met.
Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Almagro, EART Training Supervisor and EATC’s Deputy Head Training, is fully satisfied with the outcome of the training.
“I congratulate the trainees and mentors for their excellent performance”, LtCol Almagro states. “The tanker’s air and ground crews were offered realistic and high demanding training scenarios. They trained not only air to air fighter operations but also demanding dynamic and threat conditioned missions. As training supervisor, I am fully satisfied of how the missions were planned and executed.”
