Within EATC‘s premises French Major General Pascal Valentin, Commander of the EATC, welcomed today air transport (AT) -leaders of the Participating Nations (PN) at the Eindhoven Air Base, offering a good opportunity to exchange experience in the wide field of AT.
A forum of ideas and synergies
The Commanders Conference focuses on the flying groups-, maintenance groups- and squadron leaders level with an increased number of participants compared to last year’s edition. During the day the participants will follow several briefings with operational and functional subjects, will get involved in discussions intending to enhance the relationships in-between and to improve the functional aspects of the assigned multinational AT-fleet.
Today’s agenda ends with a social event in the evening. Tomorrow the conference continues but is led by the Senior National Representatives focusing on national AT-items, deepen working relationships with national counterparts in close connection to the EATC daily work. To sum it up, the 2014 EATC Commanders Conference aims to put trust and confidence in the EATCs multinational and convergent work on the Pooling and Sharing approach.
