Today and tomorrow the Commander of the EATC, Major General Pascal Valentin, will visit the Berlin-Airshow, ILA 2012.
In the framework of this event General Valentin will also participate in a podium discussion at the 5th European Air Cargo Transport Congress on 13th of September 2012.
The podium discussion deals - among others issues - with the topic of “modern cargo aircraft fleet”, “military and civil segments”, “security through modernisation and service”, “prospects of modernisation and renovation of cargo aircraft fleet” or for instance the “cargo aircraft service as a ground for the international cooperation”.
Background: The EATC partner nations are pooling and sharing a large transport fleet, which provides both efficiency and effectiveness while using a wide diversity of military transport aircraft.
The introduction of new military transport aircrafts and consequently the fleet modernization in future may be discussed between the panelists as well as e.g. the issue of its maintenance service and maintenance of airworthiness.
