On 6 October 2022, Major General Andreas Schick, Commander EATC, Mr Jiří Šedivý, Chief Executive EDA*, and Mr Matteo Bisceglia, Director OCCAR-EA** met in Brussels for the 4th Trilateral Principals meeting.
The main topics of this meeting focused on the progresses about the development of the A400M capabilities .
Major General Schick, Mr Šedivý and Mr Bisceglia re-confirmed their willingness to reinforce their cooperation, to enhance synergies and to avoid duplication of efforts.
In order to foster interoperability, EATC has presented the status of the Lighthouse Project which acts as a catalyst in several A400M cross-domains, from Cross-maintenance activities toCargo load clearance activities. In this regard, OCCAR and EATC agree to work together with the involved Nations to address the exchange of spare parts in multinational deployment.
With the aim to boost the processes of international harmonisation, thanks to the continuous commitment and joint collaborative efforts of the experts, the three organisations will achieve efficient European air transport on behalf of their member nations and enhance interoperability in day-to-day operations.
