On Friday 19 January 2019, Major General Marboeuf, Commander EATC, and his deputy, Brigadier General Agresti warmly welcomed Brigadier General Sgamba, Assistant Director of the “Joint Air Power Competence Centre” (JAPCC).
The visit of Brigadier General Sgamba and his delegation included a discussion on EATC’s business model and the visionary outlook into the future. The generals also discussed opportunities to reinforce the cooperation between EATC and JAPCC in the areas of common interest, and in particular with a focus on air-to-air refuelling and EATC’s cross-para booklet.
Moreover the Assistant Director JAPCC visited EATC’s "mission control" centre, where EATC’s worldwide flight activities are monitored on a 24/7 basis.
At the end of his visit to EATC, Brigadier General Sgamba met with the Italian delegation at EATC.
