Beginning April 2024, EATC supported the Italian Air Force in the framework of the deployment to Red Flag “Alaska” 24-1 exercise.
The four KC767A tankers and two C130J logistic aircraft were under EATC operational authority. They supported the deployment of six Eurofighters, six F35A and a P72 in in oceanic SAR (Search and Rescue) configuration from Italy to Alaska (US). The safety during the mission was assured thanks to EATC’s professional planning this complex mission and the 24/7 monitoring by mission control.
