On 11 February 2021, General Andreas Schick, Commander EATC, warmly welcomed General Jörg Vollmer, Commander Joint Force Command Brunssum.
The Commander EATC offered his visitor an outlook into EATC’s future challenges and opportunities. General Vollmer was in particular interested in EATC’s ongoing reflections to better support its member nations during the early planning and subsequent execution phase for air mobility missions in crisis situation scenarios.
The Commander JFC Brunssum and his delegation also visited EATC’s ´´mission control´´ centre, where the worldwide flight activities are monitored on a 24/7 basis.
The visit took place in the framework of a combined visit to EATC and MCCE (Movement Coordination Centre Europe).
