Wunstorf, 17 April 2026 – The European Air Transport Command (EATC) congratulates the German Air Force on receiving its 53rd A400M aircraft. With this delivery, the EATC A400M fleet has reached the milestone of 100 aircraft.
The aircraft, delivered via Airbus Defence and Space in Seville, arrived at Wunstorf Air Base, completing Germany’s current A400M programme. Germany operates the largest A400M fleet within EATC, making this a key contribution to multinational air transport capabilities.
This milestone highlights the strength of cooperation within EATC and the continued development of a modern, flexible and interoperable European air mobility fleet.
