on EATC’s announcement of Full Operational Capability (FOC)

On Thursday 28th November 2013 at 10:00h the European Air Transport Command will conduct the 7th Multinational Air Transport Committee Meeting followed by a ceremony to announce that the EATC has reached its Full Operational Capability (FOC). Both will take place at the EATC building at Eindhoven Air Base in the presence of the respective Air Chiefs or their representatives, military and civilian authorities and guests.
Major General Van de Voorde, the Belgian Air Component Commander, in his function as the Chairman of the Military Air Transport Committee, will announce the FOC of the EATC and thereby acknowledge that, since its inauguration on 1st September 2010 the EATC has reached a series of remarkable achievements both in the operational and in the functional domains and proved its ability to manage Participating Nations’ military Air Transport more effectively and efficiently. Instrumental for this success were the EATC’s unique and innovative concept, the support and the trust of the Participating Nations (PNs) and the commitment and dedication of its staff personnel.

For joining the event and access to the Air Base it is requested to accredit without specific paper form, but provide in your (e)-mail

- the full name,

- date and place of birth

- nationality

- name of the medium that is represented

- special wishes (e.g. technical issues)

Once accredited personnel/organisations/guests will receive a confirmation by email with a map and route description. With regard to the privacy act, the given personal data is being used also to access the Air Base after gathering at the Basis Information Center right before the main gate.

Military media (if not from the host nation) shall enter the Air Base with a travel order.

Confirmed participants are requested to meet at the Eindhoven Vliegbasis Basis Informatie Centrum on 28 November 2013 at 12.00h latest.
