EATC Gives a Lecture at Fontys ICT

On Monday, 9 March 2026, representatives from the European Air Transport Command (EATC) visited Fontys ICT, part of Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, to deliver a presentation on the organisation’s role in international military air transport.

The presentation was delivered by Major Ferry Janssen (NLD Airforce), Head of Branch MEAT, and Captain Robert Wuensche (DEU Airforce), Head of FAM MEAT. During the session, they introduced students to the mission and responsibilities of EATC and highlighted the importance of multinational cooperation in ensuring effective and efficient military air transport operations. They also highlighted how EATC’s business model built on pooling and sharing capabilities, strengthens efficiency and collaboration between member nations.

Throughout the presentation, the speakers provided insights into how operational coordination, technological capabilities and international collaboration come together within EATC to support complex air transport missions. The session offered students a closer look at how modern defence organisations operate in a multinational environment.

Fontys ICT is part of Fontys University of Applied Sciences, one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands, with approximately 40,000 students from more than 120 nationalities, around 15% of whom are international.
