On 21 April 2023, France celebrated the 30 years of operational service of the CASA CN-235 and the 60 years of one of its homebases, the “Escadron de Transport 01.062 Vercors”.
France transferred the operational authority of 27 CASA CN-235 to EATC. Over the past 13 years, EATC has executed nearly 10.000 missions with this capability all over the world, totaling more than 55.000 flying hours.
Colonel Arnaud Kauffmann, French Senior National Representative at EATC, is a highly experienced CASA CN-235 pilot. He participated at the commemoration in Evreux. Colonel Kauffmann is “very grateful to fly on this light logistics aircraft. It turned to a real warbird thanks to its intensive deployments and engagements in demanding theaters of operations for throughout the years.”
CASA CN-235, we are looking forward to having you with EATC for another 30 years!
