A new haven for the German A400M

In November 2014, the first A400M is planned to be delivered to the German Air Force (GAF). The EATC assigned Air Transport Wing 62 (ATW) at Wunstorf Air Base is looking forward to this event, because the training on the new aircraft should be carried out in Wunstorf – and later on also all 40 aircraft will operate from this Air Base near to Hannover.
To make this happen, huge infrastructural adjustments need to be achieved: Still flying numerous C-160 Transall, today Wunstorf Air Base is the biggest construction site of the GAF.

Find the movie with some amazing impressions here (movie is in German language only).
