Eindhoven, 8 October 2025 – Today, the European Air Transport Command (EATC) concluded its 15th anniversary celebrations with a festive Family Event at its headquarters in Eindhoven. This marks the third and final milestone in a year-long commemoration of EATC’s 15 years of multinational excellence in air transport, air-to-air refuelling and aeromedical evacuation.
Earlier this year, EATC had already celebrated its anniversary with two major events: a Reception at the Paris Air Show on 16 June 2025 and a Formal Military Parade on 1 September 2025. The Family Event on 8 October brought this memorable series of celebrations to a close – in a spirit of unity, appreciation and joy.
The day started with a military ceremony in front of the EATC headquarters, attended by military and civilian staff, as well as their families. In his address, Major-General Franck Mollard, Commander EATC, expressed his pride in the achievements and evolution of EATC since its establishment in 2010. He underlined the importance of teamwork, commitment and innovation in maintaining EATC’s reputation as a model of European cooperation in air mobility.
General Mollard also took the opportunity to thank the families of all EATC staff for their continuous support and understanding. He emphasised that behind every success story at EATC stand dedicated men and women, whose families play an essential role in enabling their commitment and service.
During the ceremony, the Commander awarded medals to staff members who stood out for their long and exemplary service to EATC. Their dedication and professionalism were recognised as key pillars of EATC’s enduring success and operational excellence.
Following the ceremony, participants gathered in the entrance hall for a reception and a toast by the Commander. In a symbolic gesture of unity, EATC patches were also handed out to staff and family members.
The afternoon continued with a family celebration filled with activities, music and conviviality. The Moral and Welfare Association (MWA), in charge of organising the family event, did an excellent job in creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The MWA Band provided live music while children and adults enjoyed games, food and refreshments across the EATC’s premises. EATC congratulates the MWA for the success of this event, which perfectly reflected the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie that defines the EATC community.
As the sun set over Eindhoven, the 15th anniversary celebrations came to an end – closing a year that honoured EATC’s achievements, its people, and its spirit of cooperation.
Happy 15th Anniversary, EATC – together we go beyond!
