Welcome to the European Air Transport Command!

In times of heightened uncertainty and global interdependence, the European Air Transport Command (EATC) is more crucial than ever. We stand at the forefront of multinational air mobility, uniting seven nations with over 180 air assets, stationed across 13 national airbases. Together, we provide reliable air transport, air-to-air refuelling, and medical evacuation solutions that keep our nations secure and connected.

Since 2010, EATC has successfully conducted nearly 110,000 missions worldwide. However, today’s challenges demand more than operational excellence—they require innovation, adaptability, and above all, unity. As the geopolitical landscape shifts, our collective response must be swift and coordinated. We remain committed to pooling and sharing resources, optimizing multinational cooperation, and harmonizing procedures that enhance our member nations’ strategic readiness.

Looking ahead, the coming years are set to be defining for EATC. We are expanding our multinational capabilities, particularly in relation to crisis response, Indo-Pacific activities and building bridges with NATO. In tandem, the Lighthouse Project will continue to bolster our operational strength by facilitating cross-activity training, logistical flexibility, and personnel exchange. EART and other key air mobility exercises will further consolidate our interoperability, raising the level of tactical ambition, ensuring that our combined forces can meet any future challenges with confidence.

Pooling and sharing capabilities and expertise—especially through cross-maintenance and personnel mobility—has always been at the heart of EATC’s success. As we prepare for the future, this philosophy is more relevant than ever. By coordinating from a multinational perspective, we strengthen the security and stability of our member nations, and collectively, we stand as a united front for Europe and beyond.

Thank you for your continued trust and support. Together, we go beyond!
